Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player in his part of the Latin mainstream. In 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN for his debut full-length album. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia came out as his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. In the following calendar year Dopamina was his follow-up album. The year 2021 was the first time he was in a duet with TINI for her hit stream song Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was born into a family of musicians his mother and older brother have been musicians. In his interviews, he said the importance of music as a requirement. While a boy was in school, he took guitar as well as the saxophone. The first goal was to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons with a Cuban musician, he rearranged his goals for his future career.
