Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson who were both lawyers. When she was a kid she attended the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma's ambition was to become an actor. At the age of six, she joined the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch in which she was taught classes for acting, singing as well as dancing. By the time she turned 10, Emma had taken part in a variety of Stagecoach productions and plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 version of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was released in 1999. Emma was discovered as a casting representative by her Oxford teacher of drama. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were chosen to play the three lead characters Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's first cinematic screen appearance. The film broke records for the opening day sales as well as opening week-end take-offs and was the highest-grossing film of the year 2001. The film received praise from reviewers, and so were the performances of its three new starlets. The Daily Telegraph praised Emma for her performance. In the following days, Emma was nominated for five prizes for her work in the film and was awarded the Young Artist Award for Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film.
