Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classic music Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic tunes along with older classical songs. Ana loves tangos, operas and other theatrical performances. Ana began learning and singing music with her mother, and commenced more serious vocal training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. As a student and young professional, she sang with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara and Mexico City. When she moved into America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She's a frequent solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions, performing classical Latin American Music. Her love and passion for music, art, and performing has her involved with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana is also a previous part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
